We have a ton of tools that will help you in your academic, creative, and personal pursuits, and our staff and faculty are always happy to answer your questions.


Are you an online-only or graduate student? We also have library guides specifically for you! This guide will cover a lot of useful information that is relevant to everyone, but make sure to check out the guides in the links below to see resources specific to your student population.

Library Locations

We have two convenient locations for you to use during your time at UM, one is on the Mountain Campus and the other at Missoula College.

  • The Maureen & Mike Mansfield Library is on the mountain campus, located right behind Main Hall, across from the University Center
  • The Payne Family Library is located on the River Level of Missoula College in room 005
