Library Services for Online & Distance Students

As an online student, you might have a local public library that is closer to you than we are. They have interlibrary loan services too! Try contacting your local library to see if they can order an item for you - this could allow you to have more time with it before you have to return it.

Not finding what you need? Submit an interlibrary loan request! If we don't have an item, our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) team can usually request materials from other libraries.

Digital Delivery

Articles, papers, and book chapters requested through ILL are delivered to you via email. You can also request scanned copies of book chapters or articles from the library's physical collections.

Physical ILL Items

Online students can request physical items through ILL, but we limit our at-home shipping services to users who live more than 50 miles away from campus. We pay for postage to send it to you, but you are responsible for return postage.

Students closer than 50 miles must pick up the items from the library, or designate someone else to pick it up for them using this form.
