Graduate Student Guide

• The library offers physical Course Reserves so that you can place items from the main stacks aside for students to share to complete class readings or research.
• Items can be checked out for an abbreviated period (e.g., 2 hours in-library use) that you designate.

Research Guides are a great place to point students for anytime assistance! Include a link to a guide in your syllabus or from Moodle.

• Librarians provide instruction to develop students' information literacy abilities and can provide guidance on research assignments.
• Workshops designed for undergraduate research needs, such as Jumpstart Your Research, are offered periodically.
• The library maintains a subscription to Information Literacy - Core, a set of online videos, tutorials, and quizzes that you can include in your teaching or recommend to students.
• The Reference Desk and research consultations are resources for all students.
