Student Advocacy Resource Center
If you have experienced sexual assault, relationship violence, bullying, intimidation, or discrimination, SARC is here to help you. Our services are comprehensive and we actively listen, believe in, assist and support our clients. Based upon your decisions and choices, we also provide referrals, connections and advocacy within the justice, medical, and social service systems. Our work is personal for you and your circumstances. All our services are confidential and free.
In response to the distinct needs of the LGBTQ community, UM Allies provides visible and easily identifiable spaces for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and non-binary students, faculty and staff where support and understanding are fundamental and bigotry and discrimination are not tolerated.
Located in the University Center on campus, UM’s Women’s Resource Center is a student-run, consensus-based organization dedicated to raising awareness about women’s and gender issues through community events and outreach.
