Requesting Journal Articles or other Short Documents

Submit requests for all articles or ERIC documents, either owned or not owned by the Mansfield Library, through Interlibrary Loan.  This link is also listed on the main library website under the students tab.   If you haven't used this service before, click on the red "First Time Users" link after clicking on the Interlibrary Loan link.  Be sure to mark your student status as Distance Education!

Requesting Books and other Materials

Books that are part of the Mansfield Library collection will be checked out and mailed directly to students. Request these items through Interlibrary Loan. This link is also listed on the main library website under the students tab.  If you haven't used this service before, click on the red "First Time Users" link after clicking on the Interlibrary Loan link.  Be sure to mark your student status as Distance Education!  Return postage will be included. You assume responsibility for the safe return of items loaned to you. Read the Mansfield Library Loan Policies for Undergraduate or Graduate students regarding overdue fines and lost materials.

For all books, theses/dissertations, or other materials not owned by the Mansfield Library that must be checked out students must use their local libraries, either public or university, for borrowing those materials. For help with this, please contact Samantha (use the contact info in the box to the right).

For further clarification on what can and cannot be requested via interlibrary loan, please see this chart or contact Samantha.
