Q. How do I print at the library?

There are two ways to print at Mansfield Library and Payne Family Library:

1. From your personal laptop

Go to the UM PaperCut website and log in with your NetID and password (if you don't have a NetID and password, use the second method, outlined below, to print at the library). Upload a document and choose a printer in Paw Print (e.g., black and white double-sided or color) to send your document(s) to. In Paw Print (located on level three), you can pay with UMoney, credit card (Visa, Mastercard & Discover), check, or cash. This print method doesn't work with tablets or smartphones. 

2. From a library computer

If you have UMoney in your account, you can print directly from any computer in the library to self-serve printer (in Mansfield Library, those printers are located on levels one and three).

You can also log in to PaperCut and send a print job to Paw Print.

For a quick print; Paw Print has its own computers that don't require a NetID login and allow you to print directly to Paw Print without using PaperCut.

Q. How do I log in to wireless on campus?

If you have a NetID, use the Eduroam network. To log in, use your NetID+@umontana.edu (for example: jw111111@umontana.edu) and your NetID password. The eduroam network is the wifi that will allow you to easily access library resources. 

If you are a community member, use the grizzlyguest Guest network. After selecting that network, open a web browser and you will be redirected to a Guest User login page. Read the terms of use, then enter your email address and click on the "I accept" button.

Both networks are free of charge.

Q. How can I scan a document?

You can use one of six flatbed scanners on level three to scan your document without charge. If you wish to scan a photo, oversized, or specialty scan, the folks over at PawPrint (also on level three) will be able to help you for a service charge.

Q. How do I log in to a computer at the library?

Use your NetID and password to log in to the computers at the library, using your NetID as the username. There are 2 computers on the main level of the library you can use if you do not have a NetID.

Q. Can I check out a laptop, charging cord, camera, etc?

Yes, we have all of those items. You can view our list of equipment for checkout on the library website, and you can check them out at the Tech Support desk or the Check Out desk. 

Q. Can I make copies in the library?

Paw Print is our print/copy/scan center and has an array of copy possibilities at competitive cost. There is a special UM rate. For a complete list of copy services and costs, visit the Paw Print website.
