Introduction

This year, Missoula will be one of 268 cities participating in the National Endowment for the Arts "Big Read". Dashiell Hammett's The Maltese Falcon was selected for Missoula's "Big Read" and there will be related discussion groups, lectures, workshops, and film screenings taking place throughout the city from October 5th, 2010 through November 13th, 2010.

Free books will be distributed at all of the Mansfield Library Big Read events starting on October 1st.  You can also find free books at the following locations: Missoula Public Library and its branches, Fact & Fiction, YMCA, Zootown Brew, as well as the Missoula Art Museum.
